RANDY L. LEAVITT
PALMYRA – Randy L. Leavitt, 40, died peacefully at his home July 14, 2003 surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 28, 1963 at Hartland a son of Eugene and Clara (Staples) Dunton. He worked at Irving Tanning Company in Hartland for 22 years. Randy loved his home and woods, enjoyed fishing at his camp, and was an avid collector and reader of western books. He also enjoyed western movies and tried to never miss Monday Nite Wrestling on his satellite T.V.

He is survived by his loving wife and friend, Carlene; his mother and step-father, Clara and Richard Mills; 2 step-daughters, Katrina and Amy McElhill; 4 brothers, Rocky Leavitt, Ricky Pedersen, Rusty and Robey Mills, all of Hartland; a sister Marilyn Bubar of Medford, MA; 4 grand-daughters, Alyssa, Erica, Brittany and Hailey; and was loved by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father who died June 2, 2002.

Friends may call 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, July 17th, with Pastor Jamie Cahill of the St. Albans Union Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
